English Language & Culture Curriculum
Students will participate in English language and culture training in all four modalities (speaking, listening, reading and writing) for an average of 3 hours per day. Each day, they will be immersed in a new topic of study which all coordinate directly with the supplemental cultural activities. Topics of study include, but are not limited to:
- Cultural Events & Entertainment
- Communications & Social Media
- Sightseeing & Travel
- College Life & Preparation
Cultural Excursions
Not only are students academically stimulated by the various courses offered by the program, they will also get to apply all that they are learning in the classroom as they experience various cultural activities. Excursions are included in the program pricing to ensure that all students are able to participate. Some examples of cultural excursions are:
- • Team Building and Leadership Activities
- • Visits to the local museums, libraries, theater, zoo, park, and mall (Destiny USA)
- • Guest Speaker Seminars in areas such as:
- Cooking
- Dance
- Theater
- Law
- Multimedia
- Community Service
- Interviewing
- ... and many more!
Food
Meals will be comprised of a variety of dishes ranging from authentic Chinese cuisine to original American style and much more!
Accommodations
inCAP will provide accommodations for students and their parents for the duration of the program. Families should plan on coordinating their own reservations for any additional activities they plan on participating in outside of the program.
